Arrival at Leh 3505 meters/11567 feet. Received by our representative
and transfer to Hotel. Complete rest for the first half. After lunch if suitable visit sun set famous Shanti Stupa (a Japanese Pagoda built for world peace by Indian based Japanese monks and was inaugurated by His Holiness Dalai Lama in 1985). Dinner and overnight at Hotel in Leh.

After Breakfast proceed to Indus -Zanskar river Sangam, drive along the Indus river visiting, Pathar Sahib Gurdwara and Magnetic Hill (where the car defy Gravity), and further on to Leh Hall of Fame (which has a museum of Kargil War Memorabilia) Dinner & Overnight stay at the Hotel in Leh.

fter early breakfast drive to Nubra valley via Khardungla Pass (18,380ft) the world’s highest motorable road and gateway to Siachen Glacier, the views from the top of the pass are amazing. Visit Diskit Monastery (118kms) founded by Lama Sherab Zangpo in 1420 A.D. Check inn at Hotel/Camp and after that we will visit Hundar village (7kms from Diskit) and Double-Humped Bactrian Camel Safari in sand dunes at Hundar Dinner and overnight at Hotel/Camp in Nubra

In the Morning after breakfast Proceed to Turtuk day Excursion, It was under Pakistan’s control until the 1971 Indo-Pak war where it came under Indian governance, recently opened for tourists. Turtuk offers much different landscape and cultural orientation than rest of the Nubra Valley. You can see apricot trees loaded around the entire village with views closer to Karakorum Range. After breakfast at hotel we drive to next destination Pangong lake via Shyok and onto Tang Tse and Spangmik (Pangong). It’s a short cut and it’s a beautiful route. The road follows the Shyok River, and climbs up a mountain before finally descending into Shayok village.

It took us less than an hour to reach Shayok, and we were delighted at the sight of the rather big village surrounded by barren mountains, the entire setting being very picturesque. Afternoon we reach at Pangong Lake and enjoy your day at Pangong Lake. Dinner and overnight at Hotel/Camp in Pangong

Note: I would like to update you that Pangong is Village which is far flung areas with no electricity. Gensets cannot be used in the nights due to Environmental concerns. That is the reason why there is no intercom, heater in the room. For electricity solar panels & inverters are used. It is very tough to operate in Pangong given the adverse condition. Moreover mobile network is also very rare at Pangong.

Hanle in Changthang region of Ladakh is one of the most beautifully enchanting, calm and soul loosing places in India. Hanle has a lovely Hanle monastery offering some great aerial views of whole village and Hanle monastery is a (17th century) monastery of the Drukpa lineage of the Kagyu school of Tibetan Buddhism. HANLE IN LADAKH AND ITS UNIQUENESS FOR ASTRONOMY. Hanle is famous for Dark skies and tourists are come to watch the star-studded sky and Milky Way in its fullest splendour. Hanle and adjoining Changthang region in India is just about the last refuge of darkness where one can witness the Splendours of Night Sky including our own the Milky Way Galaxy ‘the brilliant river of stars which has inspired philosophers, scientists and poets throughout history’, until we began to illuminate the nightscape with artificial lights. Take a breakfast start journey towards Umling La, head towards bukshado bridge, you will come across Kalatartar plain, it is same as the Moore plain of Leh Manali road but not an asphalt one. This is off- road with sands flying from the rider ahead of you so ride in any direction you want to avoid the sand. After punching some miles, you will come across blacktop road, it is tarmac road and is an engineering marvel. Head towards Nerbo-la and after drive down towards Chesum Bridge and after crossing the right turn over bredide you continuously drive to Umling la. Spend sometimes on top of Umling and later return to Hanle via same route. Dinner and Overnight in Village home stay.
